I can’t get it up and running, because when I scan the QR code, it asks to download the Arres app. Once I do that, it asks me to scan the QR code on the device, but it keeps saying it’s invalid. Now I’m trying to set it up manually, but the app is telling me they don’t support this device.
This should be much easier, right?

I suggest you uninstall the SBC app and reinstall it again.
Please select setup manually instead of scan QR code.
Also, make sure that the Wi-Fi should connect on your phone while set up the SBC app on your phone.
As you mentioned that Wi-Fi password is not working, I suggest you to enter the password without space and its case sensitive.
