Computer Connected wireless via Ethernet. I keep getting logged off internet but Internet Provider won't give assistance; says it must be modem. I don't think so!

You put “a computer connected wireless via ethernet”. Those 2 don’t go together. Is it connected over wireless? or using ethernet?
And what’s telling you you’re getting logged off?
