Hello. My network says hidden and I can’t figure out how to unhide it. When I go to the Arris login and apply it has a checked box that says broadcast SSID and it is already selected yet still says it’s hidden. Is there something else I need to do? Thanks!

Since the Wi-Fi network name is showing as hidden network, let me suggest you with few steps to unhide it.
Launch a web browser and enter in the address box as 192.168.0.1
Login with username and password.
once you logged in, select wireless 2.4Ghz and enable the option( Broadcast Network Name (SSID)) and apply it for the changes.

When I go to my WiFi connection underneath the name it says “hidden network” I am trying to connect some lights to the WiFi and it says it can’t find it and to make sure it’s not a hidden network.

I have tried that and it doesn’t change unfortunately. Any other tips?

Since the problem is persisting, Could you let us know whether the network name is broadcasting as hidden network in all the devices or only with this specific device.
If its reflecting in all the device, I suggest you to factory reset the modem.
Factory reset will change the customized setting to default one but you can customize it again by login 192.168.0.1 GUI web portal.
