SBG10, I’m locked out. How do I get past that?

I can't remember my login or password. I have also done a factory reset. used admin and password to try and reset new password but tells me my old password is wrong or says error try again

Please try the following steps:

  1. Perform another factory reset.
  2. When you log in to the web-based interface (GUI), "admin" will be auto-populated as the username. and "password" for the Password field.
  3. After logging in, you will be prompted to change the default password.
  4. For the current password, use "password," and for the new password, ensure it includes uppercase and lowercase letters, one number, and a special character.
  5. Make sure the new password and the repeated new password match, then click on apply. 

  6. If you encounter errors like "the old password is incorrect" or "unexpected error," leave the pop-up idle.

  7. Open a new tab in the same browser and type http://192.168.0.1 in the address bar to access the GUI login. When the login screen appears and again "admin" will be auto-populated as the username. Use the new password you tried to create and click "apply."
