my sbg10 wont factory reset to default settings, i need to do this so i can connect to my new internet. i tried doing the 30 second reset where u hold down the reset button, that didnt work, tried the 30-30-30 reset that didnt work, i logged into the web manager and press the factory default button, all of these dont factory reset it, it just resets like normal, ive tried everything.

In this case for one last time you can give it a try to reset modem without coax for 30 secs or for minute by pressing and holding reset button, modem should be connected to power while performing reset and make sure that you feel a click when you press the reset button.Then once the modem get the power light ON you can connect the coax cable back to the modem and wait for all the lights be ON. But after resetting the modem will go to default setup any custom settings will be removed so use the default network name and password to connect to your network.
