Arris login page doesn’t. Won’t allow entry of new password. Keeps saying unexpected error. Does Arris actually offer any real customer support?
In this case you can try restarting your modem or performing reset after refreshing the web browser or trying on different web browsers. That will allow you in logging into the modem GUI. To reset modem you need to press and hold the reset button for 15-30secs then try logging into the GUI.

I was able to eventually fix this problem and set up password. The best thing was I bought another modem, Motorola. Much better and easier to set up.
