Arris SBG7600AC2 - Unable to activate the modem for internet access.

I’m trying to set up my Xfinity internet at my new address. Xfinity is saying they can’t activate my Arris modem because it is still tied to my old address 20 miles away. What do I do here? Do I need to call Arris customer service so they can change the address to my new one? That seems weird because when I moved apartment addresses in the past within the same city I never had this issue. I thought as long as there is power to the modem and the internet signals is active at my house everything should be fine. Please help

In this case the only option is to check with your service provider for activation or you can also try self activation if your ISP mentioned that for your location is not in list for activation then you need to change the ISP or the modem.
