cannot update “password” password on 7600 even though it meets criteria. When I try again, it tells me that the old password “password” is not correct.  

I did a factory reset.  It allows “password” and then forces me to change it, but it won’t accept a seemingly valid new password.  When I try another new password, it tells me the old password is not valid, even after retyping it.  


Could you factory reset the modem once, and try to access the GUI web portal on different browser and different devices such as computer, laptop, iPad, etc.
