Question

Most websites not connecting with SBG7600AC2

Forum|alt.badge.img

I have Xfinity with the SBG7600AC2 modem router. Download speed is great but webpages are not loading. Netflix, Amazon and Facebook load just fine. Google searches work great but when I click on link it never loads. I’m not sure if the problem is with the router or Xfinity. I did a factory re-set but didn’t help. Anyone know what’s up?

Thanks

I haven't changed the DNS yet. One of the other issues I'm dealing with is my phone reception is so bad, I need to see if I can connect to the router directly with laptop/ ethernet cable.

Since you are unable to access limited websites, I suggest you to change the DNS server for primary and secondary server.

To change the same, follow the steps given below:

Launch a web browser and enter 192.168.0.1 in the address box.

It redirects to Arris surfboard login page.

Login>WAN setup>Static

Under static, I suggest you to change the primary server as 8.8.8.8 and secondary server as 4.4.4.4 and apply it for the changes.
