Currently we use Arris DG860A modems in our network.
I am testing an ARRIS SBG6950AC2 and it is not being able to connect to the internet.
Our C9 see it and register it but no internet connection.
It’s there a difference between these two?
I thought this would be a plug and play thing.
In checking the modem all settings look the same, but the WAN does not pick up anything.

Why are you sticking with a docsis 3.0 device? Most ISP’s are moving to docsis 3.1.

You picking up a 8 year old modem/router to replace a 12 year old router.

Because is what the company uses.
The ARRIS SBG6950AC2 is a newer, higher-performance DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem/Wi-Fi router combo compared to the older DG860A, offering significantly faster speeds and better Wi-Fi.

what “company”? most are supporting the newer ones and not that old of devices. I wouldn’t be investing in that old of a device
