I am attempting to setup a SBG7400AC2. Upon connecting the coax and power, the send/receive light continuously flashes and never turns solid as mention in the setup instructions. I thought this was because a firmware update is being performed, however, the update never seems to be completed as the light never stops flashing. What do I need to do to get the send/receive light to go solid?

Could you please provide us with your subscribed internet speed plan? Also, make sure that the gateway is connected to an active coaxial connection. If the Send/Receive lights are blinking, it indicates that there is no proper signal being transmitted from your provider.
Have you contacted your internet service provider to activate the gateway?
