My cable co tech Tried a couple of times to connect unit to internet to no avail. Unit has two different Mac Address.
The one MAC Adress on the unit ends in number 2 and the number of the MAC address in the package box ends in number 1. None of the address were able to connect to the internet

As you have two different MAC Address of SBG7400AC2 and you’re unable to activate the modem using any one of the MAC Address hence, we suggest you to return the modem back purchase a new unit.
Please note that you are referring to HFC MAC Address .
