Having an issue with my modem that was working fine a couple of days ago. Moved into a new place and went to set up the WiFi. Contacted Xfinity and got it set up. They had to send someone out here because the modem wouldn’t activate. He got that activated because the coax wasn’t in the right port on their end but now it’s activated and they can see the modem on their end.
we are still having the issue where even though they can see the modem and are sending signal to it, it’s not receiving the signal so our online light just keeps blinking. Every so often the up/down light also starts blinking again. The WiFi pops up in our settings on our phones but says there is no connection and doesn’t load any pages.
we have been in contact with Xfinity support and they have strongly been suggesting that it’s an issue with the router which I don’t understand if it has been working fine just a few days ago at the last place. Any help?
