All of my devices are hard wired. Can the WiFi be disabled, or does the router not broadcast if there are no devices connected wireless?

If your motto is to use the SBG7400AC2 solely through the four Ethernet ports, you can disable the Wi-Fi broadcasting by logging into the web manager (GUI).

For your convenience, you can find the steps to log in to the GUI page in the link provided below

http://arris.force.com/consumers/articles/General_FAQs/SBG7400AC2-Web-Manager-Access

After logging in, you will be directed to the System Basic Setup page. In this section, you will find the categories listed below.

Look for the checkbox labeled "Enable Wireless" and uncheck it for both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz wireless options. Once you've done this, be sure to save your settings.
