I got my modem/router refurbished so I am not sure if there was already an account created for it, but when I try to go into the Web Manger and put in the dummy username and password of admin and password, it says my password is incorrect or I have been locked out of my account for too many incorrect attempts. I have never had an account before- this device is new to me.
I don’t have a warranty due to it being used, so when I called support, they would not help, just said to try to rest the modem, which did nothing. I am having major connectivity issues and want to trouble shoot, but cannot even get into the online account to change my password let along run a signal strength test. My wifi company says the issues are with the Modem. Anyone have any idea how to reset the password so I can make an account? Thank you!
