I have followed all the instructions I can find on these boards and I contacted my ISP and they support the SBG 8300 and firmware is updated.

I’m still having trouble getting wifi at 2.4Ghz. Nothing is connected, so there is no congestion.

I’ve endabled/disabled and restarted mutliple times.

I did a reset of the entire wifi on the modem.

All without any luck. The 2.4ghz will appear briefly and then after a couple of seconds disappear.

Could you let me know whether the 2.4G network name is not broadcasting only on a particular device or all the devices?

Did you try changing the wifi credentials and security mode on 2.4g?

To change the security mode, I would suggest following the steps given below:

Login to 192.168.0.1>Gateway>Summary>Connection>Wifi>Networks>Edit for 2.4G network and change the security mode as WPAWPA2-PSK(TKIP/AES).

Also try changing the wifi channel for the 2.4G network.

It’s not showing up on any devices. I already tried changing the security mode without any luck. I’ll try changing the wifi channel next.
