Arris SBG8300 Firmware

Hello my name is Brendan I’m a Charter Spectrum customer I recently rebooted my SBG8300 status light is indicating firmware download I looked in the app and web portal no prompts for action what should I do any ideas answers

whats actually going on? When I look up the manual fro the sbg8300, neither the status light or wifi light shows anything about firmware. So whats telling you that? or what are the lights doing?

 

Is it working? 

When it boots the internet light alternates green/blue according to the manual that a firmware download

Also Ive noticed my 2.4 ghz band cuts out from time to time then reconnects 5ghz is fine

Do you lose internet connection when SBG8300 is alternating in between blue and green ?

What is your speed plan with spectrum?
