WOW cable internet can't recognize my Surfboard SBG8300 in order to activate/connect. They keep telling me they can't see it on their end. I'm trying to quit renting their gateway so I know that my coax works fine since I just move it to the new Surfboard. Please help.

Are you using any splitters, amplifiers, or signal attenautors? If so, remove them from the line and direct connect the SBG8300 to right where the coax comes into the home.
