I have a new SBG8300. I have gone through all of the setups. I changed the name of the 2.4 GHz SSID to a user friendly name. I was able to connect. Then I went in to change the 5.0 GHz SSID and I tapped on the option 'Enable Single SSID for 2.4G/5.0G bands'. It did not change the 5.0G and now the 2.4G that I successfully changed is no longer available in my wifi network list. How can I get the 2.4G to show and set it as my Main WI-FI network?

When you enable single ssid option, it combines the 2.4ghz and 5ghz ssid’s into one. So the ssid you set for the 2.4ghz, will be the same for the 5ghz and won’t show separate. Your devices can still use 5ghz, they just roam to it based off their own roaming protocol.

Usually works pretty well but you can always disable it and then re-name the 5ghz ssid.
