Connecting an HP 8720 Printer -

Forum|alt.badge.img

I have tried unsuccessfully to connect my HP 8720 printer to my Arris 8300 modem/router. I’ve tried the usual turn off/on router, printer in the various sequences. I can see all of the router connections, but not the main one, which I renamed and re-passworded.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Please connect to the HP 8720 printer main network (Wi-Fi) 2.4 Ghz then try changing the security mode from WPA2-PSK (AES) Recommended to WPAWPA2-PSK(TKIP/AES).

To change the security mode please login in to the sbg8300 webmanager pager 192.168.0.1 and select Wi-Fi and then the security mode option and change the same

What error is the printer giving you? Did you contact HP for help setting up their device?
