Ethernet killing my wifi

When I plug my DVR for my security cameras into my modem by ethernet, It kills most of my wifi signal. How do i prevent this?

Some security camera system comes with a Hub.  Do you know if you’re connecting the Hub to your gateway?  It could cause devices connected to your gateway to drop if it’s a hub and it’s also handing out IP address to the home network.

Current Setup: Sonic Fiber > G54
