Initial login not working not SBC app or GUI web portal on SBG8300

I just recently purchased SBG8300 i am connected to the internet on it. However, i cannot get into the modem settings to set the rest up. Neither the mobile app nor the internet page will accept the admin and password defaults. any help would be appreciated!

Please uninstall the app and reset modem for 30secs, after modem reboots completely connect device to the modem default WIFI network, download the surfboard central app from the play store or app store then follow the steps mention on the below link. After setting the surfboard central app you can access modem GUI through the app.

Did it help you I had the same issue still do, have access to the internet but can’t access the settings on the app to change anything. Also my internet service is at 1,000 mbps and I’m only getting 400-500mbps.
