Was finally able to get my new refurbished SBG8300 to activate with my Optimum service but the WiFi network does not seem to work. None of my devices are able to connect to either 5Ghz or 2.4Ghz networks.

When the optimum service finally worked/activated the WiFi did work on my phone for a bit and then I am now no longer able to connect to the 5Ghz WiFi network but can connect to the 2.4Ghz one but without network connectivity/internet.  

LAN connected devices all have no issues getting connected to network and accessing the web. 

Is there something wrong with the WiFi settings or does Optimum also need to activate for the WAN MAC Address as well as the lady only did it for the HFC MAC Address?

Update!

Was able to temporarily get both 2.4 and 5 wifis to work by disabling the 2.4Ghz and then reenabling but that didn't last long...
