I installed my sbg8300, and called Mediacom (less than 1gig service). They state that they can see my modem, but I have no internet. All the settings look good on my sbg8300 interface, but I did a factory reset on the modem anyway. I've tried with two different computers connected via ethernet. I still have no internet.

Could you please confirm the LED light status on the front panel of the device? Additionally, if the service providers have activated the gateway, it should have automatically rebooted, indicating that it is undergoing the activation process. Has this occurred?
