Ring cameras disconnecting

I have two ring cameras that are both within 30 ish feet from the router. I was using a Spectrum WiFi router before but switched to the sbg8300 so I wouldn't have to keep paying their router rental fee. On the spectrum router I had no issues with the camera disconnecting with the fluctuations in signal. But with the surfboard it cuts out multiple times a day and I have to actively reset the router just for the cameras to reconnect. I'm trying to troubleshoot but between the ring cameras being unhelpful in explaining why it can't connect, and the (simplistic?) interface with the surfboard manager, I can't figure out where the problem is. Because it's just the ring cameras refusing to reconnect, it makes me think it's the cameras that are the problem, but I also have connection issues at night with the router on my phone. I'm sorry for regurgitating all of this. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Could you please confirm your subscribed internet speed plan? Also, as you mentioned experiencing internet disconnections not only on the Ring cameras but also on your iPhone, could you please clarify whether the connection drops occur only over Wi‑Fi, or if the issue is observed on a wired (Ethernet) connection as well?

It's a Spectrum 400gbps plan. It only drops over the Wi-Fi as far as I know, I use my Xbox for Ethernet and I don't believe I experience any wired drops. This router is very new, only a few months old. When I was using Spectrum's rented modem/router combo unit, it was pretty good about holding the connection.

Make sure that the gateway is placed in an open area to minimize Wi-Fi congestion.

If you find that the internet drops only on the Wi-Fi, I would suggest trying to change the Wi-Fi channels to improve the connection

It would be helpful to try changing the Wi-Fi channels to reduce congestion and improve the connection quality.

Please refer the link below, where you can find the steps to change the Wi-Fi channels

Thank you so much for the suggestion, I'll give it a try!
