I have an SBG8300 modem/router connected to Cox cable.  Last year it was working completely fine.  Then I moved it to a new house - same Cox cable - but had to buy an aftermarket power cord from Amazon.

Now the internet drops once a week and I have to reboot the modem (unplug and plug it back in) in order to get connectivity back up and running.

Any ideas?  Is the unit overheating?  Is the aftermarket power cord causing issues?  The modem/router is roughly 1.5 years old and for several months, wasn’t even being used.

Thanks!
