Hi, I have a new Surfboard sbg8300 modem. I have 20 renters who regularly connect to it. Rather than have to tell everyone the new modem name and password I’d love to be able to set it to what it used to be. How do I do so?

Please follow the below instruction to change the Wi-Fi credentials on the modem GUI

I have the same modem, an SBG8300. 192.168.0.1 does not work for me. Any other suggestions?

If you are unable to login please share us with the error that you are getting while logging in.

I cannot connect to the IP address of 192.168.0.1. Error message is

192.168.0.1 took too long to respond.

Also tried 192.168.1.1 and get the same error message

Could you help us with the product’s model number?

If you are unable to get into the GUI web portal, I suggest trying with different browsers and devices.

Also, make sure that the VPN is disconnected on the device on which you are trying to login to the web portal.

I have tried using this method, but am unable to log in.

I am using “admin” as the Admin and have tried both the password on the back of the modem and the word “password” but I receive a message indicating “Invalid Login Credentials” each time.

What am I doing wrong?
