SBG8300 No Internet

I recently got a SBG8300. I registered it with my ISP, Cox, and set it up. The solid green led indicator is on and I verified through the admin page that it was assigned an IP. However, the modem doesn’t seem to be able to access the internet. Both Ethernet and the onboard router aren’t able to provide internet access

            We understand that you are unable to get internet from SBG8300, If the light on the modem is solid green that mean your modem is online and you can connect your devices to the modem default Wi-Fi network to get internet if that doesn't work you need to customize the Wi-Fi credentials on the modem interface then you can connect devices to the new Wi-Fi then check internet and even if there is no internet on direct connection that is on hardwired connection you need to check the WAN and LAN IP on the modem interface If the WAN IP is 0.0.0.0 you need to contact your internet service provider to re activate your modem.
