My sbg8300 shows only blue light and lights do not change. I cannot connect to modem using Ethernet. I tried resetting the router but nothing happens. 

In this case we would also suggest you to contact your service provider to check the status of your modem and try re provisioning modem.

what about the Wi-Fi light on the modem is that ON or OFF and do you see the Wi-Fi name on any device to the modem network?
