I recently switched my home Modem/Router to the SBG8300 and upgradED my xFinity internet to 800 MBPS. I am observing that the max WiFi speed is around 450-550 MBPS range. Does anyone know if this is what I should expect or if this an xFinity issue or a Modem/Router issue? How do I go about troubleshooting this?

Begin by connecting your laptop/pc directly to the SBG8300 with an ethernet connection. Download, if you haven’t already, Speedtest so you can run the application directly rather than in the browser. That should give you a better sense of what the true speed is back to your ISP. From there, you can figure out what other bottlenecks exists.
