I’m having trouble getting my router restarted. It stopped working today (blue light was flashing) so I did a hard reset according to what I found from arris online. It now won’t stop blinking blue which I think means the IP isn’t connected? I’ve tried resetting again but that still isn’t helping. Do I just need a new router?
SBG8300 will be having two lights on the front panel of the modem so both the LED lights are blinking blue or any one is blinking blue?
If you have device connected to home network or to the modem directly we need to check for the modem WAN IP to isolate the issue.
Launch a web browser, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari. Enter http://192.168.0.1 into the address box, and press the Enter key. The https:// Redirect page will appear.
The Username field has admin populated, enter the custom password in the Password field.
Click the Login button. The Gateway > Summary page will appear.
Select Gateway > Connection > WAN > check for the WAN IP address
