SBG8300 is not showing up when Xfinity resources it. It online I can see it as a network but I cannot connect to Internet. I called Xfinity twice I reset and the connection resourced and restarted and all that jazz. It showed up on Arris website as active modem and on Xfinity but still can't use my Internet. Does anyone have any hints or ideas on how to get my internet working? Last time spoke with Xfinity they couldn't see it in there system.

In this case to proceed further we would like to know about the more details about the modem LED light status and since you have already done with all possible trouble shooting like restarting and resetting no need to repeat but we would suggest you to perform proper hard reset by following the steps mentioned on the below article and also check for the WAN and LAN IP mentioned on the modem interface to confirm whether the modem is getting valid IP to provide internet.
