I called the number and it said they were closed, it's not midnight!!! Sunday through Saturday business hours? JUST DAY 7 DAYS A WEEK!!!!
Anyway, so the setup app doesn't work because I have a newer version of android, so I typed in modem IP and that doesn't work on either of my android phones.. so now what?
Xfinity has been no help either, but at least they are actually open.

The hours of operation for the ARRIS Contact Center are:7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) Monday - Saturday. Regarding the surfboard central application setup you can try uninstalling and reset modem then after the modem reboots connect your device to the modem WIFI network then try installing app and start the setup this will help you in getting the app setup done.
