I tried the “Enable single SSID” option on my SBG7600AC2 and then realized what it did so I tried to undo it. When I undid it, it forced all devices onto the 2.4GHZ option and even if I connect to the one that is 5.0GHZ on my phone or computer, it says it’s not connected to it through SURFboard Central and also my WiFi sucks now when connected to it. I need it to game and watch streams but now it messed up the quality.
(Please don’t mind the WiFi names, it’s an inside joke 😅)

(edit: delete image with SSID name)

Hi SParkForces,

Switching to the Surfboard Central App's Single SSID, which is 2.4GHz, has turned all 5GHz-capable devices absolutely. unavailable, to connect Wi-Fi and only connecting to the 2.4GHz, and even undoing the same on the SURFboard Central App, it hasn't made a difference.

No worries, we'll perform a factory reset on the modem and then uninstall and reinstall the Surfboard Central App.

To do a Reset, follow the below link:

I hope these steps will be helpful.

It did not work. I just wasted my time for it all to still connect to the 2.4GHz instead of the the 5GHz
