The Surfboard Central app can work for both modems and gateways, though it’s especially useful when used with Gateways, as it permits some configuration changes without going to the Web Manager of the device directly. The gateways supported by the SBC app are G34, G36, SBG10, SBG6950AC2, SBG7580-AC, SBG7400AC2, SBG7600AC2 and SBG8300. Some of the Modems supported are the S33, SB6190 and the SB6183.
