As of 2 days I am unable to connect my I-phone to SVG2482ac Wi-Fi. All the lights are on and it is displaying Online. X-finity Tech Support informs me that the modem needs to be replaced. How can I check if what X-finity says is true? Also, the modem seems to be slow and dropping devices.

Are you trying to connect phone for the first time with your modem wifi network?
are you able to see the network name on the phone and unable to connect?
Could you please help us with your current speed plan.
Is your internet dropping only on direct connection or only with wifi?
