My modem (svg2482ac) works fine for surfing the internet, as well as for my landline. My printer, however, is looking for a WPS connection in order to connect to the modem. I have tried restarting the modem completely from scratch and then pressing the WPS button on top of the modem. The WPS button will blink for about 3 or 4 minutes and then turn off. What am I doing wrong?

In this case we would suggest you to give it a try on the modem GUI or the modem interface to setup the WPS option by following the below mentioned steps.
- Launch a web browser, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari. Enter http://10.0.0.1 into the address box, and press the Enter key. The Login page will appear.
- On the Login page, enter admin in the Username field.
- Enter password in the Password field then click the Login button. The Gateway > At a Glance page will appear.
- On the left side menu select Gateway > Connection > Wi-Fi
- Below the Private Wi-Fi network list > select Add Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) Client
- You can use the PUSH button method or PIN method to connect your devices to the modem.
