I purchased a SVG2482AC used. It works fine other than showing the wrong location. For example, I am located in zip code 21776 (New Windsor). Any time that I search a website like Home Depot, I’m always directed to a store that is located in the zip code of the previous owner, even though my local store is one mile from me. Another example would be when searching a site like Breitbart news, clickbait ads have titles like “so and so is living penniless in Sykesville. Since the previous owner of the modem lived in Sykesville (21784), I figured that a hard reset would correct it, but no. Help me please.

In this case we would suggest you to check on the with your ISP since there is no such option available on the modem interface. It would be helpful that if share the screen shot on where you see this option on the modem interface and also please this is on the VPN.
