Surfboard SVG282AC slow wifi speed vs ethernet speed

Forum|alt.badge.img

On Surfboard SVG282AC the wifi speed next to the device is less than 70mb - speed at PC via ethernet is over 300. So it's not a Comcast issue. Anyone know if there are new settings in firmware I should try?

Thanks. Speed was at 5ghz.  But,happily, others suggested that it might be Comcast failing to push updates to modem.  That’s exactly what was wrong (a missing boot file ). Took an hour online getting them to run tests. Now house gets strong WiFi

what device is connected?

What band are you connected to? 2.4ghz is a slow network and won’t hit 300mps. If its hitting 70mbps, thats considered great for 2.4ghz.
