I have a SVG2482AC with non-responsive parental controls. For about two years I was able to control which devices in my home could access the internet. One day those setting stopped working. All devices can access the internet, at all times of the day and night.

The parental controls that I set are not being implemented. I can block a device, and it still can access the internet. Sometimes one device will be listed multiple times with varying IP address. I’ve blocked all the computer names/mac addresses listed for the device I want to block, and it doesn’t work.

I’ve tried blocking both windows pc’s  and apple devices. It doesn’t matter.

It is worth noting that when a new device is added to the network, it cannot access any website that is on the blocked list. However once it’s be added as a trusted device, the parental controls do not work on it either.

How can I gain control over which devices have access to the internet again?
