My SVG2482AC will not connect to Xfintiy internet. Xfinity support was not able to help me with this. They want to come out and look at my service. I belive they will charge me because I own the modem. Any suggestions how to get connected to the internet? I hae reset the modem several times and it still will not connect.

In this case if the modem lights are off that shows your modem is not getting internet from the service provider and if the online light is flashing or changing color you need to perform hard reset on the modem and for that please do follow the steps mentioned on the below link and if the online light is solid and the WIFI light is ON you can setup modem by following the steps mentioned on the below link again and if still there is no internet please contact your service provider to activate modem again.
