Purchased SVG2482AC new today...got internet connection and voice service but no wifi and customer service is gone for the day. Internet keeps telling me every website is not secure and to go back. Can anyone help, please?

I understand that you have activated the wifi modem with the internet service provider, unable to access the internet. Is that correct?

If the wifi modem (SVG2482-AC) is activated, I would suggest following the instructions on the link given below:

If it was me (since its new), I’d return it and go with something a little newer. The SVG2482AC is still using wifi 5 (ac) technology and isn’t docsis 3.1 compliant. Its only a docsis 3.0 device. many ISP’s are moving to requiring docsis 3.1 service for faster speed tiers.
