Suggestions on how to disable or dim the led lights on my Surfboard SVG2482AC? The modem lights up my whole room at night. Taping front doesn’t work (light splashes out the side) and not seeing an option for disabling in the admin software area. I’ve resorted to throwing a dark cloth over the unit but it runs warm and weakens the signal.

Sorry to let you know that we don’t have the option to disable or dim the led lights for the Surfboard SVG2482AC.
If you see that covering the Surfboard with a dark cloth weakens the signal please do not continue the same .

Thanks, I had to return it - too much light in my studio. As an alternative purchased the T25 which is much smaller and doesn’t radiate nearly as much light. I did have to get a separate WiFi router and I’m troubleshooting voice issues with Xfinity in case anyone is looking at this route.
