Purchased new T25. Using successfully with Optimum internet. Trying to log in to modem (to change DNS). Does not open welcome page to change admin credentials. Goes directly to status page. Holding reset button for 20+ seconds did power cycle only??? software version 11.02.142, so not “after 11.02*****” which supposedly restores factory settings with held reset button.
How do I restore factory settings and set up credentials?
+41It might be how optimum has the firmware provisioning setup.
But there isn’t anything to change for DNS on the modem. On the router side, yes you can change dns. But the T25 is a modem only device.
Thanks. I continued internet research after my post and learned that. Unfortunately the IT techs I have been paying don’t seem to appreciated the modem/router distinction as to DNS settings.
+41IF you’re paying for tech’s that don’t understand that difference, might be time to check into new techs.
