not sure if the app can do it but you can setup wan link aggregation with the t25 if the router supports it. If you have no intention of using it, delete the app. 

I have no idea what that means. lol  So the app just allows you to manage the modem?  It has nothing to do with the modem working.

The SBC app is only for checking the modem’s configurations. Since the T25 is a cable modem, it does not allow any modifications or edits to its settings.

So it has nothing to do with how my modem functions and therefore the app is not necessary for the modem to work.?

The Surfboard Central app is not required for the T25 to function on a daily basis.
