The T25 is a cable modem only, which means it does not have built-in Wi-Fi or router features.
So when people mention “bridge mode,” they’re usually referring to disabling the router functions like the DHCP server. However, since the T25 is just a modem, it doesn’t have a DHCP server or any router settings to disable.
- Activate the modem through your Internet Service Provider (ISP).
- Once activated, connect a computer directly to the modem using an Ethernet cable.
- Check if the internet connection works.
- If it does, connect the Ethernet cable to your router.
- Then, power cycle both the modem and the router (turn them off and back on).
- If your router is brand new, you may need to set it up before it can provide internet access.
