My new arris modem will not allow my hp photosmart printer to connect. My printer test result says I need to add the MAC address to the list if permitted devices for the wireless router.  I did this repeatedly and it still will not connect.  The printer identifies the network name, but refuses to accept the password.  Help!

If you haven’t set up any type of Wi-Fi access restriction by MAC address, you might just need to change their Wi-Fi security type from  WPA2/WPA3 Mixed mode to WPA2-PSK.  Some older Wi-Fi devices cannot connect to Wi-Fi network with WPA2/WPA3 Mixed mode.
