Hello!
I purchased a Surfboard SB6183 a while back and I’m very happy with it. Before I schedule internet service to my new apartment, I want to know whether it will work, or whether I need to purchase a new modem. The service provider lists “ Arris SB6183 Rev 4 “ as a compatible modem, but I don’t know how to identify the revision # of my model. I tried contacting customer service, but apparently my modem is out of warrant.
Could someone please point me towards this information?

half the time the ISP’s don’t update their database of have different revision numbers. I’d just try it as it’ll still probably work anyway
You can potentially look at the label on the device. Some list the model number followed by a v1, v=version) or Rev number.
