How to disable SIP ALG via SB8200 for use with Voiply internet phone service

Forum|alt.badge.img

I recently switched to Voiply internet phone service and I am having issues with them registering my adapter. When I did chat with them, they said I need to disable my SIP ALG. When I did research on how to disable on a SB8200 I read it should be at advanced settings. But when I go to advance settings the only option I see is to enable Link Aggregation Configuration (it is currently disabled). I am at a lost on how to disable. Any ideas would be appreciated.

SB8200 is the cable modem and it doesn’t have SIP ALG settings in it. If you have router, reach out them for further assistance.

Thank you. I actually forgot I had a 2nd router that I use only to connect to my garage door, and I was able to plug into that one and disable the sip alg. Seems to be working.
