G36 + W121 recommendations

I have an existing Arris G36.  I’d like to extend the WiFi.  There is a “Mesh” menu on the G36.  Is the W121 mesh a good choice?  If so, what’s the best configuration?  Should the G36 try to act as a node on the W121 network, or should it disable its own WiFi and be connected via cable to the first W121 node?  Is the W121 a peer-to-peer system, or is one designated the controller?

Hi Wood,

Of course, W121 is a good choice to be connected with G36, all we need to do is to convert it (G36) to a bridge mode and connect the LAN port of G36 to the WAN port of the mAX Router.

W121 is basically a SURFboard mAX Mesh Wi-Fi 6 system, its 2-unit system provides up to 5,500 square feet of coverage, In this 2-unit system either one of them can be used as a main “Router” and the other as a “Satellite “.
